GLQuakePlus is a source code modification for GLQuake. It has been designed to add minor functionality improvements and bug fixes rather than major new graphical technologies. The package consists of two parts, the GLQuakePlus executable and the GLQuakePlus launcher. The GLQuakePlus executable is based on the GLQuake GPL source code release from Id Software Inc and makes a variety of improvements. The GLQuakePlus launcher allows various parameters such as screen size and brightness to be set before the game is played. The Launcher can work with GLQuake and WinQuake in addition to GLQuakePlus (although some restrictions will apply to what will work for GLQuake and WinQuake). It will also scan the Quake directory for common add-on paks and allow you to launch them.
